$350 Hang 1 Package
We are offering a Spring/Summer 2007 rate of $350, $85/per lesson with a USHGA Membership. Aptitude for hang gliding varies between individuals, some people will learn quickly and others may take more time.
Equipment Requirements
We will supply all of the gear to get you airborne. Although you will need to bring several items with you for a successful lesson. They include:
- Long pants, jeans are preferred. Most beginners end up with grass stains on their knees the first couple of times they learn how to land a glider properly.
- Running shoes or light-weight hiking shoes. A lot of people are using hybrid hiking/sneaker/high-tops these day, they work well for this type of outdoor activity.
Where We Fly
Central PA offers some of the best hang gliding on the East Coast with a large selection of launch sites, and training hills. We use two training hills close to State College. When the wind isn't cooperating we use scooter towing to get you in the air. Scooter towing ensures that the wind is blowing in our direction.
